Vocational Assessment
Vocational Assessment evaluates a person’s ability to return to work or transition into new employment after an injury or illness. Conducted by a vocational rehabilitation specialist, the assessment examines work history, education, physical and cognitive abilities, transferable skills, and job interests.

Vocational Assessments provide a clear, evidence-based pathway for re-employment and recommendations for supportive equipment to facilitate return to work. They help patients plan realistic and meaningful return-to-work goals after injury or disability.
When is a Vocational Assessment needed?
This assessment is recommended for individuals who:
-
Are unable to return to their pre-injury job due to physical or mental limitations,
-
Are considering career retraining or a new vocational path post-injury,
-
Require expert support in navigating return-to-work options,
-
Need assistance with job placement or skill development,
-
Are involved in legal claims, insurance assessments, or disability case management.
