Sleep Study

Sleep Study, also known as a polysomnography, is an overnight diagnostic assessment used to evaluate sleep disorders. Conducted in a specialized sleep lab or sometimes at home using portable equipment, this test monitors brain activity, breathing patterns, heart rate, oxygen levels, and body movements during sleep.

Patients are connected to sensors while they sleep, and the data is analyzed by a sleep specialist to identify conditions such as sleep apnea, insomnia, restless leg syndrome, or parasomnias.

Sleep is essential for physical and mental recovery. Sleep Study helps diagnose hidden sleep disorders that can interfere with healing, mood, cognitive performance, and quality of life. Accurate diagnosis leads to targeted treatment and improved long-term outcomes.
