Psychological Assessment
A Psychological Assessment evaluates emotional, behavioral, and cognitive functioning to better understand a patient's mental health. Conducted by a registered psychologist, the assessment includes clinical interviews, psychological testing, and standardized questionnaires.

The assessment may explore areas such as mood, anxiety, personality, coping skills, trauma, and overall mental well-being. The resulting report includes diagnostic impressions and treatment recommendations.
When is a Psychological Assessment needed?
This assessment is helpful for individuals who:
-
Are experiencing emotional distress after an accident or traumatic event,
-
Report symptoms of anxiety, depression, PTSD, or chronic stress,
-
Require mental health evaluation for legal or insurance purposes,
-
Are beginning psychotherapy or psychiatric treatment,
-
Need to clarify a diagnosis to guide effective care.
