Vision Therapy Assessment
Vision Therapy (or Functional Vision) Assessment is a specialized evaluation that measures how well the eyes work together and how vision affects daily tasks. Conducted by an optometrist trained in vision rehabilitation, the assessment includes tests for eye tracking, focusing, depth perception, visual processing, and hand-eye coordination.

This assessment helps identify functional vision problems that may not show up in standard eye exams, particularly following a brain injury or concussion.
When is a Vision Therapy Assessment needed?
This assessment is recommended for individuals who:
-
Have sustained a concussion or traumatic brain injury,
-
Experience blurred vision, headaches, or eye strain,
-
Struggle with reading, focus, or balance after injury,
-
Report light sensitivity, dizziness, or motion sickness,
-
Require rehabilitation for visual processing deficits.
